He told all District Health Officers to start immediate control actions and send reports to his office. The southern areas are seeing a lot of cases because of climate change. A health report says that district Khyber had 10,000 cases from January to August 2024. Other areas with many cases are Shangla (6,000), Battagram (3,000), DI Khan (4,000), Tank and Karak (2,000 each), and Lakki Marwat (3,000).
