1. Generate Activation Code
- Using your HBL registered mobile number, send an SMS to 4250 with the following format:
DC(Last 4 digits of your Debit Card)
Example:DC4321 - You will receive a 5-digit activation code, which will be valid for 3 days. If the code expires, repeat Step 1 to get a new activation code.
2. Visit an HBL ATM
- Go to any HBL ATM with your HBL Debit Card, CNIC number, and the 5-digit activation code.
3. Complete the Activation at the ATM
- Insert your HBL Debit Card into the ATM and choose your language (English or Urdu).
- Enter the 5-digit activation code you received via SMS.
- Enter your date of birth (in DD-MM-YYYY format).
- Enter your 13-digit CNIC number.
- Set a 4-digit ATM PIN of your choice, then re-enter it to confirm.
Once all steps are completed, your HBL Debit Card will be successfully activated.
